Welcome to Stillness in Nature’s terms and conditions. By booking an activity (such as a workshop or training) at Stillness in Nature, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be fully bound by these terms, you will not be able to participate in the activity.
A Shinrin-Yoku workshop or 5 Elements of Nature walk training (single training or series of 5 training sessions), once booked and paid for, cannot be cancelled. However, your place can be passed on to someone you know; inform Stillness in Nature of this 1 day in advance at the latest via email@example.com (or 06-83540240). If the participant does not show up on the agreed date, time and place without having communicated a cancellation, the participant loses the right to participate at another time. A new reservation will then have to be made.
There is a 10-minute tolerance policy to allow all participants to arrive at the spot listed under ‘meeting spot’.
In dangerous weather conditions (such as extreme heat or cold, snow or sleet, thunderstorms, code orange or red KNMI), and/or from wind force 5 with or without gusts, the Shinrin-Yoku workshop or 5 Elements of Nature Walk training will be cancelled, postponed or shortened.
In the event of illness of the guide / trainer, too few registrations, or other calamities, the activity will be moved to another date. You will be notified by e-mail at least 1 day in advance. If the new date does not suit the participant, they can choose to receive a refund of the registration fee of the Shinrin-Yoku workshop or 5 Elements of Nature Walk training. Any travel and other costs incurred will not be reimbursed!
Participants in the Shinrin-Yoku workshop or the 5 Elements of Nature Walk training recognize that outdoor activities, in natural environments, can involve risks, be it personal or material to themselves or third parties.
Participants are aware that in some cases the activities take place at locations where, in the event of an accident, the emergency services may take longer to arrive. Participants acknowledge that Stillness in Nature and its guides/trainers will always avoid safety risks where possible, but do not influence unpredictable risk factors.
Participants in a Shinrin-Yoku workshop or 5 Elements of Nature Walk training agree upon participation that Stillness in Nature as organizer of the activity cannot be held responsible for any damage suffered. Stillness in Nature is not liable for damage to and/or loss of personal property, for whatever reason, arising during or in connection with the activities organized by Stillness in Nature.
By registering and participating in a Shinrin-Yoku workshop or 5 Elements of Nature Walk training, the participant agrees that he/she is aware of the risks of the activity and voluntarily participates in the activity; he/she respects the rules and guidelines given by Stillness in Nature, as well as follows recommendations and instructions; for his/her own safety, that of others (participants or no participants) and for the setting in which the Shinrin-Yoku workshop or 5 Elements of Nature Walk training takes place, be it a public natural environment or private property.
Stillness in Nature is not liable for any injury or other damage that the participants incur during or as a result of a workshop or training. Training advice is always without obligation and is followed at your own risk. If you have any health problems, obesity or any other cause that makes you in doubt, consult a doctor first.
Stillness in Nature reserves the right, at its discretion, to exclude unsuitable participants from the workshop or training.
Stillness in Nature takes no responsibility for inappropriate behavior of the participants during the Shinrin-Yoku workshop or the 5 Elements of Nature Walk training, or for damage caused by a third party (participant or no participants) or the natural environment.
